Bring a touch of Himalayan tradition and spiritual power into your sacred space with this intricately detailed brass Phurba. Known as the "magic dagger," the Phurba is a quintessential ritual tool in Tibetan Buddhism, designed to transform negative emotions and clear obstacles on the path to enlightenment.

Key Features:

Symbolic Craftsmanship: The handle features the traditional three-faced wrathful deity (often Hayagriva or Vajrakilaya), representing the power to overcome the "three poisons": ignorance, attachment, and aversion.

The Blade: Below the deity sits the eternal knot and the Makara (mythical sea creature), from whose mouth the three-sided blade emerges. The triple-sided blade symbolizes the severing of past, present, and future delusions.

Vajra Midsection: The center is adorned with a Dorje (Vajra), symbolizing the indestructible nature of reality and "diamond-like" clarity.

Material: Solid, high-quality brass with an antique finish that highlights the fine ornamental details.

Usage: Perfect for your altar, meditation room, or as a unique protective talisman for your home.

**Overview of the Handmade Brass Headed Phurba:**

Known as *Kila* in Sanskrit and *Phurba* in Tibetan, this ceremonial dagger is revered for its ability to expel evil and clear obstacles to Tantric Buddhist meditation. Its first mention can be found in the Hindu *Rg Veda*, where it appears as the central blade of the vajra wielded by Indra to vanquish Vritra, the cosmic serpent. The word *Kila*, meaning stake or peg, reflects its connection to ancient Vedic rituals. In the 8th century, the Tibetan Buddhist master Padmasambhava introduced the Vajrakila Tantra to Tibet, through which one can meditate on the three-headed Vajrakila Buddha.
