The Double Vajra Dorje. The Ghanta and Dorje, also known as Vajra, are symbols of wisdom and discipline in Buddhist teachings.
They collectively symbolize the union of opposites and the attainment of enlightenment.
The dorje (thunderbolt) is held in the right hand and represents the masculine principle. Referring to its indestructible hardness and radiant power, the Sanskrit term translates as "firm and powerful." It is the embodiment of "authentic reality" in Buddhism.
The thunderbolt is a central symbol of the impenetrability, unbreakability, indivisibility, and indestructibility of enlightenment, which the Buddha refers to as Vajra mind.
Dorje and its other properties:
The dorje is also employed to recharge water and purify spaces. The dorje is positioned in a manner that is conducive to the transmission of its energy.
