The diameter of the Mini Tingsha Symbal is 1.75 inches.
Tibetan Buddhists customarily employ Tibetan Tingsha chimes to signal the onset and conclusion of their meditation sessions. A Buddhist instructor may also employ them to refocus a student's attention when it wanders during meditation. Our chimes are crafted from an alloy of bronze, iron, and zinc in Nepal.
The sound is intentionally dissonant and penetrating, in contrast to the Tibetan singing bowls' harmonic overtones.
